What this topic is
Translating between tables and graphs tests whether the same data can be recognized in two forms.
An ACT Science question might show results in a table and ask which graph matches, or describe a graph and ask for the table it came from. Checking a few points is the efficient method: find a high value, a low value and the place where the trend turns, then eliminate any graph that misplaces them.
Axis labels matter, since a choice may plot the right shape with the variables swapped. Units and scales also differ between choices, so a graph can have the right shape while placing every value at the wrong height.
Every question is picked for where you are right now, wrong answers come back until they stick, and it all works offline.
