Data analysis (tables, graphs, trends) on the SSAT Upper Quantitative (Math) section asks students to read tables and charts, work with means and medians, and revise survey counts after a change of category. A student must find a missing list value from a stated mean, then identify the median; update notebook and binder tallies and report a fraction; and turn a pie-chart sector of one fifth of the data into a central angle. Questions are short multiple-choice items whose wrong choices often swap mean with median, skip the new total after students switch, or treat a sector fraction as an angle instead of scaling it around the circle.
