Analogies — SSAT Upper practice questions

On the SSAT Upper Verbal section, Analogies require a student to identify the relationship between a given pair of words and select another pair that follows the same logic. Stems appear in the classic A is to B as form, and answer choices are word pairs rather than single words. The student must recognize links such as synonym, antonym, part and whole, cause and effect, degree, or function, then apply that exact relationship. Traps include choosing pairs that share a topic with the stem, reversing the order, or matching a looser association instead of the precise one.
